Spirit Competitions:

WIHI is participating in all the Pre-MIST competitions to get hype and gain as many spirit points as possible! We placed 4th in the highest likes on the Facebook picture! We plan on winning a higher positions in the other social media events. Currently, we are working on getting more likes on the Instagram meme, so please like the picture! MIST Meetings/Events:

The WIHI Wolves have designated all the MSA meetings for MIST for the time being. We work on posters, banners, chants, and competitions. MSA meetings are every Thursday after school from 2:45 to 3:30 in Ms.Thompson's room. Some people stay later if they need to finish up something. The next meeting will be on Thursday, March 19th in Ms. Thompson's room. This meeting will be designated to finishing up banners, posters, and making sure everybody is working on their competitions. Since other schools are coalition members with WIHI, we held one mass MIST meeting. This meeting was on Tuesday, February 17th, and it allowed people from other schools to meet with the WIHI members and discuss group competitions.

MIST IS COMING UP IN TWO WEEKS! WHO’S PUMPED UP FOR MIST?!?!?! Don’t forget that basketball is coming up in only one week! All basketball players need to get numbered shirts and waivers in order to play the day of the tournament. There are also multiple competitions that require early submission. This means they are due on March, Saturday 14th by 11:59pm. You can submit them on this link and make sure you do so, because your submission won’t count otherwise! The link is: http://getmistified.com/detroit/early-competitions-submissions/  Just as a reminder, the competitions that require early submission are: graphic design, poetry, prepared essay, short fiction, short film, social media, business venture (outline only), community service (abstract only), and science fair (abstract only).
